Please read this before using Cronus. It is written in plain language on purpose, and using the software means you accept it.

Ownership

Cronus Agent ("Cronus", "the software") is owned and published by Agent Lead Engine LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New York, United States. Cronus is proprietary software, currently provided to invited alpha users as part of Agent Lead Engine LLC's consulting offering. The software, the Cronus name and brand, and this website belong to Agent Lead Engine LLC. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish the software without written permission.

The software is provided "as is"

Cronus is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied - including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work hard on quality, and we still make no promise that the software is free of errors, will run without interruption, or will be suitable for your particular purpose.

AI can be wrong. Check your own work.

Cronus connects you to artificial intelligence models and agents. AI output can be wrong - confidently wrong, subtly wrong, and occasionally spectacularly wrong. Models can misunderstand your request, produce inaccurate or outdated information, take an action you did not intend, or fail partway through a task while appearing to have finished.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying everything an AI produces or does through Cronus before you rely on it. That includes text it writes, code it produces, emails it drafts, files it changes, tasks it performs, and any decision you make based on its output. Do not treat AI output as professional advice of any kind - it is not legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice, and it is no substitute for a qualified professional or for your own judgment.

Limitation of liability and hold harmless

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: Agent Lead Engine LLC, its owners, members, officers, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, Cronus - including direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, or business; costs of substitute services; or damages caused by actions taken by AI models or agents at your direction or on your behalf.

By downloading, installing, or using Cronus, you agree to hold Agent Lead Engine LLC and the people behind it harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the software, the actions of AI models and agents you run with it, or your violation of any law or third-party right while using it. Where a jurisdiction does not allow certain exclusions or limitations, those exclusions and limitations apply to the fullest extent that jurisdiction permits.

Third-party tools and models

Cronus connects to software and services that Agent Lead Engine LLC does not own, operate, or control - including AI agents such as Hermes (Nous Research) and OpenClaw, models and tools such as Claude (Anthropic), Ollama, n8n, and any skill, plugin, model, or MCP server you choose to install or connect. Each is governed by its own license and terms, its makers are not affiliated with Agent Lead Engine LLC unless expressly stated, and we are not responsible for what third-party software does. Names are used only to identify the tools; no endorsement is implied in either direction.

Powerful tools, real consequences

Cronus is built around safety - checked prompts, controlled context, visible actions (see our Mission) - but no design removes your responsibility. Agents you run can send messages, modify files, and act on real accounts using access you give them. Grant access thoughtfully, review what agents do, keep backups of anything important, and never give an agent credentials or permissions you would not give a new employee on their first day.

Privacy, concretely

Cronus has no account system, no analytics, and no telemetry. We do not know you installed it. Your conversations, memories, credentials, and files stay on your machine in folders you can open and delete. The only data that leaves your computer is a message you choose to send to a model provider you configured (for example Anthropic, Google, or OpenRouter), which is then governed by that provider's privacy terms, not ours. The credential vault stores keys encrypted, and this website sets no tracking cookies.
